From start to finish, I have never had such a stress free experience. Missy is prompt, friendly and prepared for all the silly questions that despite how silly they are, they are important to the customer (what props to bring, what to wear, what about the weather…etc. etc. etc.). Missy has an eye for photos that capture moments and memories that aren’t just a picture, they are truly a gift; pieces of time, frozen, irreplaceable and precisely perfect. Her editing is stunning, her turn around is insanely fast, and she does all of this magic while being completely affordable. Best of all, she’s just got a way with the kids. Missy takes the time to entertain our rambunctious, ham of a four year old, always taking the photos Aubrey requests ( even when the goal is not a 4year old glamour shot session). In December, we found out that my husband, Shawn, was going to have open heart surgery. His first request was that we have photos taken with the kids. For an extreme introvert to ask for this, and for Missy specifically, just speaks to her talent and personality. She met us with flexibility, compassion, humor, and of course amazing pictures.

Missy was referred to us after I posted a Facebook article seeking a photographer after some lack luster family photos we’d just done at a photo studio. I met Missy through a friend needing to do family photos for her daughter. Missy immediately made us feel comfortable with her, and captured genuine pictures of my brothers and I, who rarely see each other. These pictures showed the raw emotion we all were feeling, how happy we were in those moments together, and I couldn’t have been more thankful for them. So when I got pregnant and was thinking about maternity pictures, Missy was the first person I thought of. Her grow with me package is exactly what I was looking for, and so affordable, especially for a single parent-to-be. Maternity pictures with my sister-in-law captured our bond so incredibly. I am always the awkward one in front of the camera, and she gets the best out of me every single time!
